ABOUT SUNDAY SCHOOL
Our 9.30 am service is our main all-ages gathering. It includes a Sunday School program for everyone from pre-school through to early High School.
HOW SUNDAY SCHOOL RUNS
For the first fifteen minutes of the service we join the rest of church for the first hymn, the church news and then the kids come up the front to hear a kids’ talk.
At around 9:45, the kids head up to the child care centre (just behind the parish room) and we have an all-in time. We sing a few songs, have a talk/puppet show/drama, and play a game. Things like that.
Then, at about 10:15, we break off into younger kids and older kids and have do a few activities. We do some craft, have age-appropriate discussion, and we say some prayers.
We finish at 10:45, and then head back to the parish for morning tea.
We also run a creche at the 9:30 service for those three and under. For more information, contact Marty (see below).
